About Mayor Steinberg
- Bill Steinberg was re-elected in 2009 with 61% of the vote
- Hampstead, Quebec, Canada
- Dr. Steinberg has a PhD in Psychology from Northwestern University, and was a professor at Concordia University. He runs a business which specializes in software that measures customer satisfaction and employee morale. Bill Steinberg is the son of the late Morris Steinberg and Clara Steinberg. He grew up in Hampstead and his mother still lives on Dufferin Rd. Despite being born with a severe hearing loss, Bill has overcome it with the help of a cochlear implant he received in 2004. He is currently the President of the Cochlear Implant Recipients Association. Bill has been a resident of Hampstead for over 50 years and knows it as a kid growing up and as a parent raising his kids in our town.
